As Counterintelligence Analyst, you will conduct timely, relevant, in-depth research and analysis to write CI/HUMINT Lead Sheets, CI/HUMINT Targeting Operational Support Packages (OSP’s) and CI/HUMINT Asset Validation Packages in support of CI/HUMINT Targeting and Lead Development Operations Support Research foreign intelligence entities capabilities, intentions, willingness, and opportunities to threaten U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, resources, activities, and interests worldwide. Provide analytic support to senior officials, collectors, and operators throughout the DoD, IC, and federal law enforcement agencies/organizations in support of USCENTCOM J2’s programs, functions, and mission activities. Provide direct support to CI Agents by researching, analyzing, and producing foreign visitor vetting products, CI Threat Vulnerability Assessments, and other DIA and USCENTCOM unique product lines focused on Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE) threats to USCENTCOM and component commands. Conduct daily research of raw intelligence to identify potential threats to DoD personnel, activities, and interests in the region. Conduct analysis using quantitative and qualitative methodology. Identify emerging threats, trends, and patterns and nominate strategic production when appropriate. Present formal and informal briefings to support USCENTCOM J2’s priorities and be able to defend analytic results to a variety of audiences in support of their mission readiness requirements. Identify counterintelligence gaps, leverage, and help create HUMINT collection requirements to fill those information gaps. Integrate as part of a counterintelligence support team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with national-level IC partners. Have the opportunity to support advanced analytics initiatives, knowledge management projects, and both lead and support projects, that satisfy national-level intelligence priorities. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance required 

  • Specialized training and 5 years’ experience 

  • Counterintelligence Analysis/Support experience 

  • An in-depth understanding of the intelligence cycle. 

  • Experience with ODNI’s analytic tradecraft guidance and experience writing to Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s), specifically ICDs 203, 205, 206, 208 and TN 750. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction. 

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate as part of an analytical team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with theater and national-level IC partners. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers. 

  • Experience using the following tools: NGT, TAC, RMT, CRATE and CHROME.
